A
note about how Category Winners are chosen:
Judges are random citizens of Kingston and have no
connection to the Parade Committee or the Kingston
Fourth of July Celebration Committee. Judges score
each entry on a 1 to 10 scale for each area of:
Creativity, Effort, Appearance, and Showmanship.
The numbers are totaled for each entry in a specific
category. The entry for a particular category with
the most points wins the trophy.
